Ganesh kumar Rai M.Com, B.Ed, Ph.D, SET, (Post Doctoral Fellow, in Commerce, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, He holds Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Degree with specialization in Advanced Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting from Sri Krishnadevaraya University and Master of Commerce (M.Com) post graduate degree with specialization in Finance from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, he also possessed the Bachelor of Education B.Ed) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University and he has been awarded with Doctorate (Ph.D) for his research work in Marketing Management from Sri Krishnadevaraya University and he has qualified in professional teaching certifications such as APSET, and more than 02 years of experience in Teaching and 7 years in Research to Higher education. Dr. Ganesh kumar Rai has published around 10 research papers in the reputed National and International Peer Reviewed/ Indexed Journals. He has presented a number of research papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has been awarded with three Years Post-Doctoral Fellowship from University Grants Commission New Delhi in the research area of Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Economic Development in Andhra Pradesh. |

Hanumanthu Lajipathi Rai, M.Com., Ph.D is at present Professor, School of Commerce & Management, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India, had held positions as Head, Chairman Board of Studies, Dean of Faculty at S.K. University and Former Vice-Chancellor of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, A.P., with 32years of teaching and research experience at PG level and produced 15 Ph.Ds and 17 M.Phils ad presently guiding another 7 scholars for Ph.D. he is author of 6 books in the area of Foreign Trade, Tourism, Agriculture and Published 80 research articles. His articles appeared in Indian Labour Review, Economic Times, Business Standard, Capital, Eastern Economist, Indian Journal of Marketing, East European Trade, Welfare Economist, the Banker, Yojana, Indian Banking Today & Tomorrow, Lok Udyog, Research Digest (ICWAI), Modern Management, Facts for You, Commerce, Indian Express, etc. He published 85 Telugu articles during 2008-2010 (up to May) on Indian Economy and Andhra Pradesh Economy in ‘Sakshi’ Daily to help the candidates appearing for Public Service Commission Examinations (Group I, II Government Services). He Conduced 20 National and regional level Conferences/Seminars in the areas of consumerism and attended nearly 60 academic seminars. He was selected by UGC to visit Egypt and delivered lectures at 9 universities in Cairo (‘96) he worked as professor and taught probationary Civil Servants as Head (CII) at HRD Institute of Govt. of A.P. In this Stint as HRD Professor trained more than 8000fficers of Andhra Pradesh State Administration by conducting 100 workshops relating to policy implementation in the areas of Agriculture, Welfare, Human Development and Rural Livelihood Initiatives during 2004 to 2006. As Former Director, AP Study Circle, Govt. of A.P. for 7 years at Hyderabad he guided a number of all India Civil Service officers and helped A.P. Govt. Welfare Dept. in shaping the career programmes for youth and organized Career Yojana and Career Mela for students (1997 to 2004). As number of various social and cultural organizations Dr. Rai served as Lok Adalat Member, President of Rotary International, Secretary of Public Relations Society of India, General Secretary of A.P. Consumer Organizations, Nodal Officer for Janmabhoomi at Hyderabad, Member of Screening Committee for obscene movies; Secretary, Green Society, Anantapur Member of Disciplinary Committee at SK University and Secretary, Public Relations Society of India and President, Rotary International at Anantapur. He was also Editor of ‘Consumer Crusade’ and Founder of ‘Viniyoga Darsini’ while serving the cause of consumer’s welfare in the society. He launched Faculty to Society Programme through University to protect the interest of the consumer’s movement in the country and received Republic Day awards at district and State level. He received Priyadarsini Indira Gandhi Award for Distinguished services to the society during 2008. |
