Born on October 15, 1953 in Kota, Rajasthan Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal has retired from the post of Joint Director in October 2013, from the Department of Information and Public Relations of Rajasthan. He did Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Rajasthan University, Jaipur and Ph.D. in History from Kota Open University on the subject ``Police Administration in Rajputana 1857-1947``. He has also done one week training course on Cultural Heritage and Tourism Potential. He has edited more than 100 souvenirs and has published more than 10 thousand articles, features, editorials, blogs, travelogues. He has 15 out of two dozen books on tourism. Many of his talks have also been telecast from the Kota and Udaipur centers of All India Radio. During the service period, he was publicly honoured by the district administration Kota on various posts on national festivals 3 times. Language and Library Department, Government Public Divisional Library Kota honoured him with ``Hindi Sahitya Seva`` on Hindi Day 2018, ``Senior Citizen Tourist Writer Award`` on Senior Citizen`s Day 2018 and ``Vayoshree Samman-2019`` on International Seniority Day 2019. has been awarded. National News Portal Prabha Sakshi, New Delhi on 8 November 2019 was honoured with ``Hindi Seva Samman`` in the field of journalism and writing in Delhi. He was honoured by ``Hadoti Gaurav Samman`` by Kota`s social organization New International on 5 January 2021, ``Journalist Samman`` by Kota district unit of Indian Working Journalists Federation on 6 September 2021 and On Hindi Day 2021.
