Dr. Manisha Kumari is an accomplished professional with a robust academic background and extensive experience in both teaching and industry. Holding a Ph.D. from ICFAI University Jharkhand, along with an MBA from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra Ranchi, MFA and CFA from ICFAI University Tripura. Her educational journey is a testament to her commitment to finance and management. With a total of 10 years in teaching and 7 years in the industry, She has found a balance between theory and practice. Her current role as Assistant Professor at Presidency College, Bangalore, showcases her dedication to educating the next generation. She possesses a diverse set of competencies, having taught a range of subjects, managed administrative responsibilities, and showcased organizational skills through event coordination and committee participation. Dr. Kumari`s industry experience includes stints at Standard Chartered Bank and Sharekhan Ltd, providing her with practical insights to complement her academic knowledge. Active participation in conferences, workshops, and training programs, coupled with certifications in NCFM and KYC & AML, reflects her commitment to continuous learning. Dr. Bhagabat Barik
Bhagabat Barik is a Professor of Marketing at the ICFAI University Jharkhand, Ranchi. He is also the Assistant Dean (Faculty of Management Studies). He specializes in Financial Product Marketing and conducts corporate training and Consulting in the same field. He is a seasoned researcher and has published papers in reputed journals. He has more than 26 years of experience in industry, academic and served as faculty member in the National and State level University for almost one decade. He is the Life Member of ‘Odisha Economic Association’ and Associate Member of ‘Rural Marketing Association of India’ (RMAI). Prof. Barik has worked with different reputed organizations such as Tata AIG Life Insurance Company Limited, Aviva Life Insurance Company India Ltd. etc. in various capacity in different locations of Odisha and India. Prior to ICFAI University Jharkhand, he has worked with ITM University Raipur, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Odisha and gathered exposure to University level activities in the State of Odisha and Chhattisgarh. He has also prepared Self-Learning Materials on the course ‘Marketing of Services’, for ‘Odisha State Open University’, Sambalpur, Odisha. As a Graduate in Engineering from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Prof. Barik has received Gold Medal in Marketing from KIIT School of Management, KIIT (Deemed to be University) Bhubaneswar, and Completed Licentiate Exam in Life Insurance and Agent Licensing in General Insurance, conducted by Insurance Institute of India (III), Mumbai. He also participated in the International and National Seminars conducted by Educational Institutes & presented papers in the area of Marketing, Insurance Management and Strategy. He is also authored many articles in referred National and International journals. Currently, he is writing research papers Text Book on Life Insurance, Inclusive Marketing and Strategy for Business Excellence.
