Dr. Karminder Ghuman PhD in Rural Marketing, MBA and M.Sc. (Sustainable Dev.) he is currently, Associate Professor and Area Chair – Marketing & Entrepreneurship at LM Thapar
School of Management, Thapar University, Dera Bassi campus. He is Heading the Centre for Indian Management and also leading the Venture Lab - Thapar, an incubation centre of Thapar University. With 19 years of professional experience of in teaching, administration and corporate
sector, he was earlier Professor and Campus Director at Satyug Darshan Technical Campus, Faridabad and was Professor and Director at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan Campus,
Mohali. As trainer and consultant he has conducted numerous assignment with government and private sector organizations. Dr. Ghuman`s books titled Rural Marketing (2007) and Management: Concept, Practice and Cases (2010), have been published by McGraw-Hill. He has published research papers and article and has presented his empirical research work in good number of conferences. Dr. Ghuman is member Board of Studies of LM Thapar School of Management and was member Board of Studies for Punjab Technical University. He was PGP Chair, LM Thapar School of Management from May, 2014 to February 2015. Former Editor-in-Chief of refereed journal CGC Management Review. Former Member, CII`s Subcommittee on Technical Education and has been invited as expert by Technical Teachers` Training Institute (Estd by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India). He developed Diagnostic Study Report for establishing sanitary fittings cluster. He is recipient of Best Teacher Award by Lions Club, Mohali on Teachers Day, 2002 and by Rotary
