Dr. Ramakanta Satapathy |
Ramakanta Satapathy (b.1968) obtained his LL.M Degree and P.G.D.L.L & P.M Degree from Sambalpur University. He is an eminent scholar in Alternative Dispute Resoultion System and continuing his Ph.D studies under Sambalpur University. He continued in teaching law from 1996 to 2002 in Bargarh Law College, Bargarh as Lecturer and Principal. He is now continuing his practice as an advocate in Bargarh District Civil Court, Sambalpur District Court and Orissa High Court, Cuttack. He is a life member of ICADR (Under the Ministry of Law and Justice, New Delhi) and in Editorial Board of Law Journals, VSRD International Journal of Justice and Legal Studies, Law Mantra etc. He is now also working as guest faculty in Lajpat Rai Law College, Sambalpur Business Law Stream. He has participated in a number of national seminars, workshops and conferences. He has published more than 25 research article in National & International journals. His areas of interest include Alternative Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law, Commercial Law and Environmental law. |
Dr. Bikram Kumar Das |
Dr. B.K. Das (b.1960) has completed 31 years (which include both UG and PG teaching) of teaching. He has obtained his LL.M Degree from Bombay University and M.L. Degree from Annamalai University. He has obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Law from Sambalpur University,
Odisha. He joined in the Bar in the year 1982 and started practice at Cuttack, Odisha. Again in the same year he shifted to Bombay for higher study and started practice with V.H. Kotadia both
in high court and City civil court, Bombay. In the year 1985, he joined as a fulltime lecturer in Jeypore Law College, Jeypore, Koraput, Odisha and worked as vice Principal, since 1996 to 2010. Recently he has joined in the L.R. Law College, (A Constituent college of Sambalpur University, Odisha) and also working as Course Co-ordinator of B.B.A LL.B (Hons) Course and as Director of P.G.D.I.R & P.M Course. He has produced a number of PH.D Scholars. He has participated in a number of national seminars and workshops. He has also participated in the several International Seminars and conferences. He has published more than 25 research article in National & International journals. He is a life member and editorial board member of laws journal “Law Mantra”. His areas of interest include Constitutional law, Criminal law, Legal Education and Research. He is the life member of Indian Society of Victimology Madras. |
